Total Control 2.0 (TC2.0) is a comprehensive hardware, software and programming update to the flagship URC system and accompanying Accelerator 2.0 programming software.

TC2.0 features an extensive library of room images, backgrounds and device icons used to customize the interfaces. There is also an option to upload photos of customer rooms, custom background images, custom device and category icons, and even add dynamic color labels. 

With TC2.0, the Total Control family of interfaces offers an experience like no other. The line-up consists of the new 7” tabletop touchscreen controller, 7” in-wall touchscreen and a 5” in-wall touchscreen. All three devices offer a camera and speaker for use with its embedded intercom system allowing interfaces to call each other via AV or use as a surveillance camera. The interfaces also offer seamless integration with compatible door stations.

Additionally, with Amazon Alexa intelligent voice control or Google Assistant, users can automate their home with voice commands.

TC2.0 offers a new user-friendly Rooms Menu, a customized Scenes Menu, Geo-Fencing, Reactive Push Notifications, NFC Tags, a two-way Favorite Channels module, and unified lighting, locks, scenes and thermostat devices – plus an upgraded Mobile App with third-party in-app launcher.

1. TC2.0 features industry leading UIs including 7" tabletop and in-wall touchscreens plus 5" in-wall touchscreen with A/V intercom. While home automation systems CAN be controlled via mobile apps, URC believes that the tabletop controller should be the centerpiece of all home automation systems.

2. TC2.0 enables programmers to deliver a completely customized and personalized experience. Programmers can upload custom backgrounds, room images and icons from the URC library or use/take their own photos.

3. Dealers can install the TC2.0 upgrade using all existing Total Control controllers and even use existing UIs. There are some limitations when using older UIs.
