The Dynaudio Studio Series S4-LCR modular in-wall loudspeaker system offers a variety of multi-channel configurations while allowing installation around stud-walls without requiring any structural modification. The speakers easily and quickly mount into their innovative, tool-free latch-frames, which utilize a special integrated counter-spring mechanism that avoids unwanted sonic vibrations.

The two speaker modules that comprise the S4 LCR are the S4 LCR 265W (MSRP $ 699.00 each) dual-woofer bass module, and the S4 LCR MT (MSRP $ 999.00 each) midrange/tweeter module. The modules are combined in various combinations to create a single channel, and are simply daisy chained via speaker cable they can easily be fitted between studs to create both vertically and horizontally oriented LCR speaker channels. Passive crossovers are included for the two pre-configured standard systems, but these can optionally be bypassed to facilitate fully-active, open system configurations utilizing external processing.

Paintable, magnetically attached grilles are also available, including such for single and dual woofer module channel configurations - as well as adjustable custom sized grilles cut to spec based on the specific installation and the distance between the modules to discretely cover the speaker modules and the wall surface between them to provide a unified, streamlined appearance.

The modular construction allows LCR to be configured with a single mid/tweeter module connected to either one or two woofer modules in passive configurations. The mid/tweeter module can be positioned atop, between or below the woofer module(s) in vertically oriented channels, while horizontally oriented center channels can have the modules mounted between stud walls for simplified installation. The center channel woofer modules can even be mounted vertically in line with the left and right channels’ modules is desired. The flexible system can be operated in passive mode or fully active. Dynaudio’s performance-optimized drivers ensure the highest level of audio quality.
